There are 5 different tournaments to enter, each consisting of four rounds, if you can battle your way all the way to the final, you will probably find yourself playing against the world's greatest player.

If you get tired of playing high profile competitions you can always relax playing one of the selections of pub games.

As well as the traditional 501 and 301 matches Phil Taylor Darts comes with, Cricket, Killer, Golf, High, Low and Around the Clock, during which you can choose how skilful you think you are and how many players you want to play again.

The menus are slick, the sound's not too shabby, the dartboards look fine and there's a big picture of 'The Power' for you to see, who you'll ultimately be going up against. Of course, with digital darts the control system is everything. Make it too easy and there's no challenge, too tough or unrealistic and you won't be bothered to learn.
